Allen C. Wagonblott Jr. Al has been elected as the Post Quartermaster. He has been a member of the VFW for the past twenty-eight years, during which time he has served as: Department of Rhode Island Commander; Post Officer of the Day; Department of Rhode Island Senior vice Commander; Department of Rhode Island Junior vice Commander; Voice of Democracy Chairman; Patriots’ Pen Chairman; and the Assistant Youth Activities Chairman. (I promise he does have a life out side of the VFW.) Al served in the Navy as an Intelligence Specialist (IS1) and retired as a Petty Officer First Class. Al qualified for the VFW by receiving the Viet Nam Service Medal and participating in Operation Frequent Wind; and Operation Baby Lift. He has served aboard the USS Enterprise. Al is a life member.
